Ramon Pena Abrego
March 12, 1941 - January 18, 2020
Ramon Pena Abrego son of the late Alvina P. Hernandez of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away with his loving family by his side at his home in Fremont, CA on January 18, 2020. He was 78 years old.
Ramon was born in Corpus Christi, TX and lived in Niles-Fremont, CA for 60 years. He loved his sports and was a diehard Raider and A's fan. He was a coach to his kids in FBI & FGSA in the early 70's and loved watching his kids, grandkids and great grandkids play baseball, basketball, softball and football. Ramon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was devoted to his family and had a big heart.
Ramon was a welder at Peterbilt Motors for 27 years and retired after 17 hears at New Haven School District.
Ramon is survived by his loving wife Rosalinda Abrego (aka-Rosie) of 60 years, his sons Johnny (Tara) Abrego of Ventura, CA - Lawrence (Corene) Abrego and daughter Carmen (Ernesto) Rodriguez both of Fremont, CA. His Grandchildren Elaine (Marcony) Fonseca of Fremont, CA, Alicia (Michael) Moore of Union City, CA and Anthony Chavez (Dayna Gonzalez) of Fremont, CA, Jesse Abrego, Nico Estevez and Brandon Dias of Ventura, CA, Maya Abrego and Logan Abrego of Fremont, CA. Great Grandchildren MJ Fonseca, Isaiah Fonseca and Carmelo Chavez of Fremont, CA. He is preceded in death by his brother Tomas Hernandez Jr. survived by his wife Rosario Hernandez of Corpus Christi, TX and survived by his brother Reynaldo (Carla) Hernandez and sister Delia (Frank) Andrade.
