Rafael Ma. Vicente “Lito” Ruiz Hidalgo III, 70, of Tracy, California, succumbed to cancer on September 4, 2013 at his home. Born in Manila, Philippines, eldest son to Rafael Jr. and Gloria.Rafael III was a loving husband, selfess brother, proud father, and a loyal friend to all. Rafael III is survived by his wife Nicanora, sons Noel and wife Adrienne, Rafael IV and wife Allelie, Marc and wife Martina, daughter Marianne, and grandchildren Enrico, Leila, Lucas, Nicolas, and Francis. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, in-laws and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.Rafael III had a passion for story telling and the company of loved ones. He enjoyed watching sports, gardening, and cherished family gatherings. Rafael was always there to help friends, neighbors, and colleagues.A special thank you to Optimal Hospice Care for their compassionate, loving care and support.Ceremonies will be from 5:00 until 9:00 PM on Wednesday September 11 and Thursday September 12.
