He was trying to ask, “How are you doing?” He was a good student and attended Oakland and Hayward schools. He played CYO basketball and little league baseball which sparked his love for sports. He was a lifelong learner and had a passion for music. He was a Warriors season ticket holder and avid fan. As an adult he attended Chabot College of Hayward, DeVry University, and received multiple telecommunications certifications. He attended Pleasant Grove Baptist and later united with Cornerstone Baptist Church, both located in Oakland. He was baptized at Cornerstone on August 8, 1985On July 11, 1992 his life was forever changed when he and the late Monica Shaw welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Brianna Mone Jones. Nine years later he welcomed his son, Quincy William Joseph with former wife Nicole Jones. The last ten years he was committed to Tahirah Anderson and her late daughter J’loni Anderson.Quincy was the life of the party at work and family functions.
