Pushpa Wati Gorwara's Obituary
Pushpa Gorwara 88, passed away on Friday November 15, 2013 at Washington Hospital in Fremont, California. She was a long time resident of the Bay Area, residing in both Foster City and Fremont. She was wife of a deceased, Indian diplomat, Amar Nath Gorwara. Pushpa is survived by her 3 children, Asha, Premla,, and Ashok, her 5 grandchildren and 7 great grand children. She is affectionately remembered as “Bibi” by her many friends and family. Pushpa had the honor of raising all of her children and grandchildren and traveling around the world to do so.She loved cooking, knitting, listening to music and spending time with the family. She was a giving, loving mother and grandmother, nurturing them until her final days.A funeral service, honoring and celebrating her life took place on Tuesday, November 1:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, California.
