Prabhudas Jethabhai Patel's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we have lost a treasured family member in Prabhudas Jethabhai Patel, whose passion was to provide endless opportunities for his family and future generations. He was born in Israma (Gujarat, India) and came to America in 1963 where he studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Utah. He married Jyotsna Patel in 1968 and lived with his family in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1970.
Prabhudas was a strong advocate for education and instilled this value in both his immediate and extended family. A well respected man with endless wisdom and family first values, he had a very successful career in both Chemical and Civil Engineering. He was passionate about helping those in need and found many ways to expand educational opportunities for children in Israma and Petlad. His legacy of giving will be carried on by his family.
We find solace in that he is now reunited with his beloved wife and our mother, Jyotsna Patel.
He is survived by his loving family.
Viresh, Megha, Ishaan and Devan
