Pilar Bruno's Obituary
Pilar Dimaquibo Bruno peacefully passed away at Eden Hospital in Castro Valley, California on January 27, 2017 at 3:15pm. Pilar was born on October 11, 1936 in San Simon, Pampanga, she is predeceased by her parents Hermogenes and Rosario Dimaquibo, and her late brother, Honorio. Oldest of four children, Pilar is survived by her husband Julio Bruno, her three children Maria, Rodel, Nanette; her two brothers Henry and Nato, and her six grandchildren Christian, Angelica, Dana, Clarisse, Jerome, and Jarrod. Pilar enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and watching Filipino soap operas. Throughout her life she was a hard worker, she loves to help others. Pilar came to the United States in 2000, where she lived with her daughter Maria, she helped around the house and watched over her grandchildren. Pilar was very hospitable and generous, many looked up to her and considered her a second mother. Pilar will be missed by her family and friends for her unconditional love.
