Phat Ngu's Obituary
Phat Ngu a Hayward resident entered into rest Tuesday, June 4, 2002 in Hayward. Born in Vietnam on February 16, 1918, he was 84 years of age. He was a resident of Modesto, CA prior to moving to the East Bay Area. He enjoyed reading the Chinese Newspaper. He owned and operated a fish bate store. Loving father of Phung Ngu & Nam Yip of Hayward, Que Lilnh Ngu & Peter Chang of Union City, Kim Que Ngu & Cuong Luu of Fairfield, Annie Wong & Minh Ngo of Union City, Tracy Wong & Chuong Luu of San Jose, Wing Wong & Can Leung Wong of Fremont, Phuc Thai Ngu & Huu Ly of Denmark, Tony Wong & Phan Duong of Modesto, Calvin Wong & Tammy Truong of Hayward, and Johnny Wong of San Jose. Dear brother of Giam Ngu, Can La Ngu both of Colorado and Tring Tran of Vietnam. Devoted grandfather of forty-seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, La Diep. Visitation will be held Friday, June 14, 2002 from 3:30-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Friday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and on Saturday, June 15, 2002 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home.
