Petra T. Garza a Union City, CA resident entered into rest Saturday, April 20, 2002 in Hayward,CA. Born in Savinas, Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on May 7, 1932, she was 69 years of age. She loved gardening flowers and especially loved her grandchildren. She worked for many years at American Licorice Co. and retired in 1999. Loving mother of Louis Garza, Jr. of Mexico, Miguel Garza of Ione, CA and Jorge Garza of Union City, CA. Devoted grandmother of seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25, 2002 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. with a Vigil/Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Friday, April 26, 2002 at 10:00 a.m in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park.'Service of Marked Distinction'
