Pauline Pui Wun Lam's Obituary
Pauline Pui Wun Yu Lam was born on January 7, 1930, in On Tong, China. She was a fun-loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her joyful spirit and many talents. One of her greatest gifts was dressmaking—she created beautiful gowns for friends and family, often for their most special occasions. She lived through immense challenges, surviving the Japanese Invasion and Communism in China. In the early 1970s, she and her husband immigrated to the United States, where they continued raising their children and building a new life together. After retirement, Pauline embraced life to the fullest. She loved parties, dancing, and singing karaoke. Cruising was one of her favorite pastimes, especially the excitement of the onboard casino. Her life was full of color, laughter, and resilience. Sadly, Dementia gradually changed that. Diagnosed with dementia a few years ago, her condition slowly declined. On May 4, 2025, Pauline peacefully passed away, joining her beloved husband in heaven. In honor of Pauline’s memory, please consider making a donation to support those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Your generosity can help bring comfort, care, and hope to others on this journey.
