Pauline "lynn" Eva Fahlman's Obituary
Pauline “Lynn” Eva Fahlman, a resident of Hayward, passed away on June 12, 2014at the age of 91. Lynn was married to John for 45 years and he preceded her death in December, 1980.She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. A true Rosie the Riveter, she worked in the Oakland shipyards during the war as an electrician. Most remember Lynn for her wonderful cooking. She was the beloved cafeteria lady at Barnard White Elementary School for over 20 years. No one ever left her home hungry.She was an active volunteer at a Valley Memorial thrift store for 10 years, and often spent time with friends at the Fremont Senior Center.She is remembered by her daughter, Denise Selvidge, deceased son Dean Fahlman, son-in-law Timothy Selvidge, two granddaughters, Rose Krause and Bonne Selvidge, and a great granddaughter Sarah.We all love you and you will be forever in our hearts.
