Jan Higdon
From Paul Meier’s daughter, Jan Higdon: My Dad is my Hero. I wanted to marry him when I was little. My mom said she married him, and I would have to find someone else to marry. I NEVER heard my Dad swear in my 62-yr-old life. He lived by the Golden Rule and the Boy Scout Law. He loved God, and he loved his family. He will be remembered for hundreds of things? But, what I will always remember him for is: His kindness, His smile, His outgoing personality. His taking photos and then sending those photos in an ENCOURAGING CARD to so many people. His support of ALL that I ever did, from the Camp Fire Girls, Job’s Daughters, to all my solos at church, weddings, funerals and plays in high school…. I will TREASURE the past few months that I got to see him DAILY…. and all the photos and memories I have of life with an AMAZING MAN….. I miss him already…..
