Paul T. Crawford's Obituary
Paul T. Crawford quietly passed over to his place in Heaven at 2:22 a.m. Tuesday January 11th. Paul was born in St Louis on August 31, 1934. Throughout his life, Paul was a very active participant in sports and music and loved plays and musical theater. He held a membership at Castlewood Country Club for over 30 years. Paul grew up in Emeryville and finished High School there before attending Business School. He was the youngest manager in the history of Hoerner Waldorf and later started his own company that he proudly ran for more than 40 years. Although Paul was very proud of his company, his greatest pride was that of his family and his friends. Paul was a great Dad, Husband and friend. He will be sorely missed by his wife Patricia Crawford, his 9 children; Stephen Crawford, Diane Crawford, Lynn Potts, Sharon Landreth, Mike Rinne, Colleen Gonzalez, Jaymes Meyer, David Meyer & John Meyer; his 15 grandchildren; his 4 great grandchildren, former wife Mariaon Hamlow; one half-sister, Valerie and one half-brother, Phil. To some he was a friend, others Dad or a Granddad, but to his family he was Gramps. Now Paul has joined; his deceased wife, Barbara, his mother, Agnes Kahle, his father, Freddy Kahle and his golf buddy Steve Damele who will show him the way to those heavenly greens where they will be playing scratch golf. Mass will be held on Saturday January 15th at 1:00 PM at the Transfiguration Catholic Church in Castro Valley with visitation being held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the above mentioned church..
