Patsy Izura Cruz a Stockton, California resident entered into rest Wednesday, April 2, 2003 in Tracy, California. Born in Oakland, California on October 14, 1936, she was 66 years of age. Patsy enjoyed writing poetry. She attended Merritt College, which lead to her work history as an activity director. She belonged also to the Eastern Star Orgai. Dearly beloved wife of Robert Edward Cruz for 25 years. Loving mother of Denise Merritt of Red Bluff, CA, Linda Merritt of Stockton, CA, Dennis Merritt of Washington, Christopher Long of Richmond, CA, Mark Butler of Germany and Kevin Butler of Modesto, CA. Dear sister of Barbara Phillip of Oakland, CA, Sharon Wade of Antioch, Lorenzo Wade, Jr. of Tracy, CA, Edward Wade of Atwater, CA, Carl Wade of Elk Grove, CA, Robert Wade of Tracy, CA and Clarence Wade of Oakland, CA. Her daughter, Christina Moore and sister, Diane Wilson preceded her in death.Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2003 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral service Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. 'Service of Marked Distinction'
