Patrick Joseph Doyle's Obituary
Patrick Joseph Doyle was born June 9th, 1949 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he was raised by his parents, Mark and Elaine (McEnany) Doyle. Pat moved to Anaheim, CA in 1964, graduated from High School in 1967 and joined the Navy. He served as a communication Yeoman in Morocco aboard the USS Saratoga in Mayport, FL.Following an honorable discharge, Pat worked in financial services which prepared him for the CFO position in the family business, Foam Distributors located in Hayward, CA. Pat left the business ten years later to open a flower shop in Key West, FL. Once again he returned to California, taking on the role of primary caregiver for his Mom.He loved being around his family and friends. You never saw him without a smile, especially when he had his dogs, Max and Duffy by his side. He believed a dog was God’s way of proving he doesn’t want us to walk alone.Patrick broke his hip, which led to an infection that took his life on November 10th, 2014. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Doyle of Newark, CA; two brothers, Ron (Carole) Doyle of Dublin, CA and Steve (Roxie) Doyle of Fremont, CA. Nieces and nephews, Brian Doyle of Mountain House, CA; Stephanie (Michael) Wright of Newark, CA; Stacie Babb of San Jose, CA; Jill (Mike) Cook of Tucson, AZ; Chris (Rita) Doyle of Dublin, CA; Adam Doyle of Fremont, CA; Nick (Jami) Doyle of Pheonix, AZ; and eight great nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by his father, Mark Doyle.
