Patricia E Reynolds' Obituary
Patricia E. Reynolds passed away November 19, 2025 at the age of 90 yrs in Castro Valley, California.
Patricia was born November 16, 1935 in Oakland, Ca to William T. Carter and Caire A. Stevens. Patricia grew up and went to Oakland, Ca. She graduated from Oakland High Class of 1955. For a few years Patricia worked at Friedens Calculators in San Leandro, Ca where her father also worked.
Patricia as a child, had met her future husband, but didn't know it at the time. They lived down the street from one another as kids. Once Albert returned from his tour of duty in Korea, he knocked on her door; they dated for a year and were married in May 18, 1957 in Oakland, CA.
Together they bought property and had a house built. It originally was a huge tomato field. Their house was the 1st one built in that area in Hayward.
They built their family together of 3 daughters and 1 son. Her children were her pride and joy. Albert and Patricia enjoyed going to school and church events that their kids were involved in.
After her kids were grown and on their own, they enjoyed going to visit their daughters in Minnesota, Kentucky and Virginia. She loved having her kid's visitor also.
Some hobbies were card games and table games. "Sorry" was her favorite game. She enjoyed yarn projects and Artex painting. She loved her western music. Roy Rogers was her favorite singer and actor. Until Elvis arrived. During the 60's-80s Albert and Patricia were involved with CB radio club.
She is survived by her 3 daughters and son. Deborah Ziesmer of MN, Linda (Jeff) Deppen of Ashland , Va, Karen Stombringer (Liz) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Bill Reynolds (Kris) of Hayward, Ca. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis Barthman of Castro Valley, Ca. By 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way. Many nieces, nephews and 2 best friends, Theresa Martin of Sun valley, Nv and Evie Diez of Sonoma County, Ca.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert (2005), her father William Carter (1991), her mother, Claire Stevens Carter (1999) and many other friends and relatives.
