Patricia Louise Dreisbach's Obituary
Patricia Louise Dreisbach April 7, 1934 – June 26, 2017Patricia Louise Dreisbach, resident of Tracy, California, passed away on June 26, 2017. She will be remembered for her kindness, her sweet spirit, her laughter, and her beautiful smile. Pat was born in Staples, Minnesota and moved to California as a young girl. After graduating from Fremont High School in Oakland, she went to work at Pacific Bell, where she met the love of her life, Donald Dreisbach. Don and Pat were married on April 18, 1954. In 1958 Pat and Don moved to Union City, where they raised their four children: Donna, Deanna, David and Doug. After her children were grown, Pat went to work for Mervyn’s department store and retired at age 55. In 1998 Pat and Don moved to Tracy. Pat and Don made the most of their retirement. They enjoyed many years of travelling in their motorhome. Pat also devoted much of her time to many volunteer organizations, but the true joy in her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pat is survived by her husband, Donald; loving children Donna May (Bob), Deanna Kitchuck (John), David Dreisbach (Kathy) and Douglas Dreisbach (Lori); grandchildren Angela Mathisen (Cody), Thomas Altemus, Jason Dreisbach, Jennifer Dreisbach, Marissa Leandro (Colton) and Amanda Elliott; great-grandchildren Elijah and Honor Mathisen and Lawson and Branson Leandro. She is also survived by her sister, Floraine Chappell. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life. There will be a visitation on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and funeral service from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Boulevard in Hayward. There will be a reception after the service, with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356.
