I was so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. She will be remembered as a blessing for her family-whom she loved dearly-, her coworkers, and especially the veteran patients whose lives she touched. It seems like only yesterday, although it was 25 years ago, that I started my work in the eye clinic at Livermore, and Pat was the lead technician and LVN. She was also the ONLY technician for a clinic with an 18 month waiting time. …Also the lead on everything necessary to running a clinic, guiding us through the administrative hoops required to deliver good eye care and making sure the veterans received the care they needed. She worked in the eye clinic at Livermore for many years, kept it running smoothly, and was justifiably very proud of the work she did. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her at VA. I wish her family solace at her loss and consolation at the tremendously positive impact that she made among her coworkers and veterans. Len Goldschmidt
