Pascal George Bouvoin's Obituary
Pascal George Bouvoin Jr, 76 passed away in his Union City, CA home on December 16, 2021.
His family is deeply saddened by his passing after a two year struggle due to complications to the rare disease of AL Amyloidosis.
Born in Oakland, Calif. on July 8, 1945, he lived in Oakland, San Lorenzo, and Union City, CA. He was the beloved husband of Caralynn Bouvoin for 54 years, brother to Rochelle Bouvoin. George was preceeded in death by his parents Pascal George Sr and Helen Bouvoin of Sparks Nevada. He was in the United States Army Security Agency serving his country for 4 years in Germany with Caralynn. Upon his service commitment he returned home and was an Operating Engineer for 35 years.
He had a love of fly fishing for many years enjoying the streams of Northern California mostly and explored fly fishing in Wyoming, Montana, New Orleans, Louisiana . He was a member of the Mission Peak Fly Anglers Club in Fremont, CA since 1978 and taught many fly tying and casting classes for his club. He enjoyed many years of fishing with friends that also shared the catch and release sport.
To my beloved husband George, I was privileged to have you with me in our life's journey together, always watching over me providing me with love, devotion and a caring gentle soul. Goodbye.
He will rest in peace at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA. at the Wall of Valor.
