Paraluman Sanvictores Solano June 5, 1935 – December 22, 2016Paraluman Sanvictores Solano of Hayward, California went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2016. She was a beloved wife, mother of five children, grandmother of seven grandchildren and great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren.Born on June 5, 1935 in Taytay, Rizal, “Fely” was a graduate of Mary Chiles College in Manila, Philippines. She was a registered midwife at Rural Health Unit in Tanay, Rizal and served as the “alkaldesa” (mayor’s wife) of Tanay for 14 years (1972-1986). She retired from the health department after 30 years of service. She moved to the USA in 1991 and settled in Alameda County.Fely is survived by her devoted husband Bienvenido “Ben” Solano with whom she shared almost 60 years of marriage. Their 60th wedding anniversary would have been on January 2, 2017, the day of the memorial service. She was a beloved mother to Roselle (& Mark) of Fremont, California; Sonia and Thelma of Tanay, Rizal; Boboy of Concord, California; and Patrick (& Lizette) of Antipolo, Rizal.Fely’s grandchildren are Pamela (& Mario), Pauline, Brian, Yanni, Dean, Mai-mai and Daniel. She was Lola (great-grandmother) to Ava, Aaron, Anja and Brielle.Friends and family are invited to a visitation and memorial service to be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Chapel of the Chimes (Reflection Chapel) at 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA.
