Pamela Macedo's Obituary
Pamela Macedo, age 65, was born on July 18, 1950 to Felix and Evelyn Dandois in South Charleston, West Virginia and passed away on February 24, 2016 in Fremont, California, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her devoted husband, Wally, and loving son Matthew, dear niece Megan Dandois, sister-in-law Maggie, other family members, as well as a host of close friends whom she cherished. Her greatest accomplishment was giving life to her son. Pam received a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State University and was a member of the Fremont Art Association. She was an avid painter, enjoyed art, cooking, shopping, and spending time at her mountain home. Winter was her favorite time of the year and she especially enjoyed the holiday season. Pam cherished her time with family and friends, as well as with the many pet dogs and cats she had through the years. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe. Pam loved flowers but would want to help save the lives of other cancer patients, and therefore the family suggests those wanting to contribute to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network please do so in Pam’s name. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Pam’s life on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 at 10:00 am at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA.
