In May 1972, Pacifico migrated to the United States, beginning his career as a clerk in the State Department of Public Works. He met his future wife, Onesima, shortly after his arrival at a gathering by a mutual friend. Their swift courtship led to their marriage on January 20, 1973.
Pacifico is survived by his devoted and caring wife of nearly 52 years Onesima Bandoja Aguiao. His children: Jerome Anthony (who predeceased him) and daughter-in-law Jenny; Jeremiah Emmanuel and daughter-in-law Bernadette; and his beloved grandchildren, Chloe Jane, James, and Lukas.
