Page was part of our “Coffee Group” that used to stop at Winchells Donuts to drink coffee and to talk about all sorts of things. He knew a lot of interesting stories about San Lorenzo.He teased me about “finally” repainting my house — as the paint was starting to peel in places. I told him that the reason I waited to paint it was that “I had been told that all of the paint had come off and I was waiting for it to finish peeling!” (Our conversations were a lot like that.
