Onie Pearl Lewis' Obituary
Onie P. Lewis, 91, a resident of Hayward for 59 years, entered into rest in Hayward on Monday, March 18, 2002. She was born in Maud, TX on September 1, 1910. She was a member of the Golden Gate Primitive Baptist Church in Fremont. Her family was her life and she enjoyed knitting, gardening and sewing for her family.She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Valerie Roberts of Livermore, ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer and two sons, Bob and Ed Lewis.Family and friends may visit on Monday, March 25, 2002 from 5:30PM to 8:30PM at the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
