Om Prakash Suri's Obituary
Our dad, Om Prakash Suri, passed away after a long battle with heart disease on September 1st, 2017 at a young age of 91 years and 11 monthsThe best times we had with our dad was traveling on long voyages to many different countries and through amazing continents on passenger ships , along with mom tagging along with us three guysAs his children, he taught us study, be somebody, and have fun, playing sports. Even though he wanted us to play field hockey, Neil went for soccer, and Rakesh went for cricket. Maybe we could not beat dad in his own game. He was awesome at it.In our adult life , he instilled in us to keep working, it will pay your bills, keep you healthy, and competitive daily. He was very active, 11 days before passing away, he was cleaning the back of Rakesh’s car.What we learnt from our dad about family, was to take care of them without worrying about obstacles, finances, daily stresses, and be true to them, always.
