Olga was advocating for social justice and minority empowerment in the "establishment" part of aging services long before anyone else - when she was one of the few voices of any consequence doing so. It was a little lonely for her in this sector, away from the part of aging services focused on low-income and disadvantaged folks, where her views were more the norm and where she felt most at home, but you know Olga - she understood that she was more needed in that other world - among well-meaning but hide-bound folks. She was an inspiration to us. - Mel Matsumoto
