Odelia Cecelia Perry a Oakland resident entered into rest Saturday, April 6, 2002 in Hayward. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on November 8, 1904, she was 97 years of age. Odelia was a Secretary for 35 years. She worked for Pacific Far East Line, Maritime Commission. She volunteered at St. Anthony's Parish in Oakland and later for St. Rose Hospital in Hayward in the gift shop. She served all offices for the Home Owners Association of Spanish Ranch in Hayward, CA. She played the piano in the Spanish Ranch Band for care homes. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting all her life. She traveled all over the world. Loving Aunt of Ernest 'Ernie' C. Perry of Orinda, CA. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2002 from 3:30p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 4:00 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, April 15, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Bedes Catholic Church; 26950 Patrick Avenue, Hayward, CA with Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery; 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association; 1900 Powell Street, Suite 285, Emeryville, CA, 94608.
