Norman Hendricks' Obituary
Who live in San Leandro for more than 40 yrs. died Aug. 7, 2012 at the age of 89. Born in Niles, California. Norman was a WWII veteran and served with the Army Air Corp. He worked at the Alameda NAS and retired in 1988 and then worked P/T for Enterprise Rent A Car for 22 more years. He was married to Lois Hendricks who passed away 2007 after 54 yrs of marriage. He was very active in his church and other organizations. He was the most lively active 89 yrs old you have ever seen. Loved by many. He will be missed! He is survived by his son Norman Hendricks Jr. of Hawaii, brothers and sisters Kenneth Hendricks of Castro Valley, Gene Santos of Modesto and Darlene Rector of Medford, Oregon. Norman was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, 172 Breed Ave., San Leandro, CA 94578 for more than 50 yrs. Donations can be made to his church in lieu of flowers. Visitation is at the Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, monday Aug. 13 from 5-9pm. Service will be at 10:00am, tuesday Aug. 14, 2012
