Norma Pitney's Obituary
Norma was born on November 22, 1937 in Sheridan, Wyoming and raised in Decker, Montana, a rural area close to Sheridan, WY. Following her graduation from Sheridan High School in 1955, she entered Multnomah School of the Bible (now Multnomah University) in 1957 and graduated in 1959. She was on Multnomah staff until 1961.Norma married Robert Pitney on June 17, 1961. She served together with Bob in Japan from 1965 to 2000 with The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM).She served on staff of Redwood Chapel Community Church from 2000 to 2007. She retired to Turlock with Bob in 2011 to live in Covenant Village of Turlock.She is survived by her sister Ann Cox (Jerry) of Oregon and their five children; Bob’s sister, Marian Holland; Bob’s nephew Dave Holland (Adrienne) and Bob’s niece, Donna Jensen (Jeff).
