Nita Dill left us on December 22, 2023 at 97 years old.
Born in Monroe, Oklahoma, in 1926, Nita traveled as an infant with her five siblings and parents via covered wagon to Texas, where her father worked as a sharecropper. The family later came to Fresno, CA, and Nita moved to Fremont in 1960 after marrying her husband R.F. Nita owned two restaurants in Fremont in the 1970s, and was known for her parties. She loved cooking and country music.
Nita is preceded in death by husband R.F. and son Jerry. She is survived by children Stan and Donna, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother, nieces, and nephew.
