Nicolina Moss' Obituary
Nicolina (Nicky) Moss, 94, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Brookdale Sterling Court, Senior Living in Roseville, California.
She was a resident of Roseville, California, for 1 year and prior of Fremont for 46 years and prior of Oakland for 47 years. She graduated from Oakland High School in Oakland in 1944.
She was born in Oakland, California on November 14,1925 to Simone Amelio and Maria Michele Amelio, A.K.A. Michelina Amelio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moss, and her six sisters; Angelina Albanese, Mary Caporicci, Grace Leone, Lucy Lapenna, Antoinette Walker, and Sue Houk.
She worked as a civilian for the Oakland Army Base Motor Pool for 8 years. She married Robert Moss on October 20, 1951.
Nicky is survived by her three daughters; Susan Moss, Janet Rodriques and husband Bryon Rodriques, Sharon Crotty and husband Paul Crotty; three granddaughters; Aimee Andreis and husband Sidney Andreis, Jill Crotty and Dana Crotty; grandson Dustin Rodriques and wife Chelsea Rodriques; four great grandchildren; Gunner Rodriques, Harper Rodriques, Jaxon Andreis and Ashlyn Andreis.
She loved to play cards, bingo, sing and go on bus trips to various casinos.
She has requested no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to a charity of choice.
