Nick Miller's Obituary
On Monday March 25, 2019 Nick G. Miller passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 91. Nick was born on June 20, 1927 in San Francisco, California to his Greek immigrant parents Gus and Venetia Miller ( Malliaroudakis). He enlisted in the Merchant Marines at the age of 17 in 1945. His ship was docked off the island of Okinawa when the war ended. He married the love of his life Annie Padilla on March 13, 1948. They raised two daughters Laura and Christine. Nick had a great love for dancing to Big band music, which is how he met his wife Annie and they enjoyed dancing together for 53 years until her death on 2001. Nick was preceded in death by his parents Gus and Venetia and his brother Harry and his sister Irene. Also his wife Annie and his granddaughter Tiffany. He is survived by his daughters Laura Trujillo and her husband Joe and Christine Ramirez and her husband David. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, Joe, Michele, Ashley and Sheree. 10 Great grandchildren, 2 Great Great granddaughters and a 3rd Great Great granddaughter soon to be born. He is also survived by his loving companion Tina Pontrelli. A funeral service will be held on Monday April 8, 2019 at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, Ca at 10:30 am.
