Mr Nicanor Orlina's Obituary
Nicanor Sarino Orlina passed away on November 25, 2016. Nicanor was born on June 5, 1941, to Potenciana and Duadisimo Orlina in Toledo Nabas, Aklan, Philippines. He was the second oldest of eight children. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Christine (Herrick) and Melissa (Brian); his son Neil (Elaina); brothers, Camilo (Lorna) and Jose (Janet); his sisters Tessie (Fred) and Elsa (Lino); grandchildren Mylee, Bella, Noelle, Nathan, Ethan, and Luke; loving nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends. Nicanor immigrated to the United States in 1975 and worked in the mail room at the University of California of San Francisco (UCSF) for 20+ years. “Papa Nick” will always be remembered for his quiet strength, his big heart, and his love for family. Visitation will be held Monday, December 5th, from 5:00P.M.-9:00P.M. at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. The funeral mass will be held Tuesday, December 6th 11:00A.M. at St.bede Catholic Church with internment to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Circle of Peace (2nd Floor)
