Neil you brought joy and laughter wherever you went. Neil you had a rare gift: the ability to entertain and make everyone feel special. Your energy could light up any room, and your humor created memories we will cherish forever. Though your time with us was far too short, your impact was immeasurable. You reminded us to live fully, laugh often, and love deeply.
Our trips to US were also entertaining and fun. Thank you for always spending time with us.
We will carry your spirit in our hearts.
You will always be remembered for your kindness, unwavering integrity and love for your families.
Your laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew you.

From Nive, Sunita and family in New Zealand

I would like to talk about the last time we saw you in May this year.

We were lucky and feel very privileged to have spent a couple of weeks with you in Fiji.

Never thought you would leave us so soon.

Had great fun with you, enjoying all the yummy delights Fiji had to offer.

Neil you specially loved the seafood, the kokonda, little prawns that Lynette made, nakai , crabs and fish that my mum Sunita made.

Neil you enjoyed having drinks and chats with Shailen on the balcony, taking in the scenery at Uduya Point.

Reminiscing about all the great times we had till late at night. I would say Neil you have to get to bed, we have a busy day tomorrow and you would sternly say to me “ No Nive Jiji , I have to go talk to my daughter” and you would stay up and talk to her till wee hours of the morning.

She was the centre of your universe and you adored your little princess.

Sadly, we will all miss you and you leave an enormous void in our lives.

Rest in Peace: From your beloved family in New Zealand.

God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be;

With tearful eyes we watched you,

In Loving Memory of Neil Mishra (1981–2025)

Neil was our beloved cousin brother, and in every sense, a true brother at heart. We grew up together, sharing childhood memories, laughter, and a bond that can never be broken.

With a gentle soul and a kind heart, Neil touched the lives of everyone he met. Though his earthly journey ended far too soon at the age of 44, his aatma is eternal and continues onward under divine guidance.

As the Bhagavad Gita reminds us, “Na jayate mriyate va kadachin” — the soul is neither born nor does it die. Neil has simply shed this physical form and moved on to his next sacred journey.

May Bhagwan grant peace (shanti) to his soul and strength to all who loved him. His memories will live forever in our hearts.
