I was devasted to learn of Neal's passing in 2023. Neal was a dear friend, we lost touch many years ago. I've been searching for Neal and Wendy for many years now. A sad turn to find him now...
"Don't reef the Main Davy!" --- Neal would yell out whenever I threatened to reduce sail as Neal, Wendy and I would sail across San Francisco Bay. Neal loved the wind, laughed when I told him it was time lower the sails and head home. He lived his life loving the wind, finding adventure and energy in every thing he did. Raising a wonderful family and a beautiful and loving wife. He will be in my heart always.
