Naomi Edwards' Obituary
Naomi passed away on August 27, 2008. Dearly beloved wife of 60 years to the late Alvin L. Edwards Sr (1998). Loving mother of Wanda M. Sutton, Tamara R. Edwards, Otis L. Courtney and his wife Stephanie H., and Alvin L. Edwards Jr. Devoted grandmother of Edward Ellison Jr, Otis Ellison, Willie T. Sutton Jr, Vittoria J. Williams, Quran Edwards, and Dejara Edwards, great grandmother of 4, great-great grandmother of 5. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Naomi was predeceased by her daughter Geneva L. Ellison (1998). A loving, caring and giving lady who always had her heart and home open to ALL who needed a hot meal or a place to feel comfortable and loved. Naomi will be greatly missed by ALL who knew and loved her. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Tuesday September 2, 2008 beginning at 1:30PM at CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA 94544.
