Very sudden Nancy passed away. This is a great loss for all the people who know her. She is full of energy. She manages all the tasks very well: family, work, everything she wants to do perfectly. And she didnÃ¢â?¬â?¢t mind to share her knowledge to others. I learned a lot of things from her. She is the best mentor of mine. She always thinks of other people first. Remember a few years ago we travel to Taiwan, wherever we go her first stop is the souvenir shop to buy the souvenir for her colleague and her family (even her luggage already overweight). We are very shocked at the sudden loss. Nancy was an awesome woman, no doubt an awesome mother and friend. We should choose to remember her with laughter and smiles and how she would always choose to help the boy’s basketball team. I am still in my deepest shock that Nancy has past away. Her happy and bubbling personality will always stay with me. I still remember the days we went to high school, moved to college and lived in the same apartment together, stayed up to study and stayed up talking about our past and our plans for the future until dawn. You were always so generous sharing your life experiences; I know you were carrying me under your wings during those years. You were a big sister to me when I did not have one. I thought I have a lifetime to catch up with you, and now I lost that chance. Your friendship, smiles and laughter will always be with me. To the Linh Family, our deepest condolence and sympathy. I had the pleasure of knowing Nancy this past year briefly thru AHS basketball. She so impressed me with her outgoing personality, and can do it attitude. She always had a warm smile and I thought so engaging and interesting. My last contact with her was the Spaghetti Dinner last year for Men’s Basketball, she spoke of her family with so much love and she made me laugh. When my son Brandon told me of her passing, my heart went out to her children and her husband, I remember her telling me how much she cherished being involved with her children’s activities and how important family was. I am sad that I will not see her in the stands at the games, but I know that she is watching over her family lovingly. Though my meeting her was brief, she left a wonderful impression on me. I worked with Nancy at UTStarcom and became good friends with her about 5 years ago. We shared many thoughts and laughs talking about our family and friends. I remember that she would take Ivan to places for his basketball games every weekend, I would always wonder how she does it with her busy work schedule. Her devotion and love to her family was amazing. She told me the story of how she left Vietnam at a very young age with her younger sister, and started a new life in US where she had to take care of herself and her younger sister. I think that’s one of the reasons that Nancy never took life for granted. She is full of energy and had told me in many times that she doesnÃ¢â?¬â?¢t want to stop working, sheÃ¢â?¬â?¢s worried that she will be bored and behind staying at home. In our most recent lunch gathering, she shared details of her surgery and reminded me to cherish the moments with my family as life is unpredictable. I will remember Nancy’s as my dear friend who’s a fighter and giver in life, her laughs and smile will stay in my heart forever. I was so sadden to hear of Nancy’s passing. I too will always remember her laughter and energy at the North Coast Express basketball games. What is ringing in my ears now is “Ivan get the ball” “Get the ball Ivan”. You could always hear her yelling those instructions while Ivan was on the court.She will truly be missed this season.
