Monico Tala Paule's Obituary
Monico Tala Paule, age 99, of Union City, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025.
Born on December 24, 1925, in Santa Cruz, Lubao, Pampanga, Philippines. Monico was the beloved son of Jose and Lucia Tala Paule. He married Fortunata Bartolo Paule on June 6, 1948, sharing 70 years of devoted marriage until her passing in 2018. Together, they raised seven children and built a strong, loving family.
In 1977, Monico immigrated to the United States to create new opportunities for his family. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his gentle and generous spirit, his deep love for his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his joy in tending to his orchids. He will also be fondly remembered for his simple pleasures, including his love of persimmons, and the Golden State Warriors.
Monico is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family who will forever cherish his memory:

● Teresita Santos and husband Kit; children Fabien Santos and Tracy Gomez, (husband Mark Gomez); grandchildren Nic, Zack, and Emily Gomez
● Sevelita Abrera; children Analynn Abrera, Haydee Lopez, Juanito Abrera Jr. (wife Belinda Barroza), Ramon Abrera, (wife Ma Florinda Ramos), and Rolando Abrera; grandchildren Kristine E Abrera, Jarome Paul Abrera (wife Margarita Ocampo), Jenna Ann Abrera, Jasper John Abrera, Arnel Abrera (wife Dae Manuel), Ma A Abrera, Marah Abrera, Sarah II Abrera (husband Guess Dela Cuesta), Ramon Abrera Jr., Rosalie Abrera Jose Joffree Lopez and Jose Jayvee Lopez; great grandchildren Aiden Abrera, Eunice Kaori Jacinto, Amarah L Dela Cuesta and Olivya Pauleen Abrera.

Monico is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Fortunata, son-in-laws Isidro Logmao (wife Zeny) and Juanito Abrera Sr (wife Lita), grandson-in law Jose VI Lopez (wife Haydee) and his loyal companions Simba and Pikachu.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, faith, and quiet strength. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
