Mildred Wenkheimer's Obituary
WENKHEIMER, Mildred died peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2001at San Leandro Hospital. Mildred's children arrived in time to say goodbye. Mildred is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, three children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mildred was born in Kansas, where she graduated from Hutchinson High School, and Junior College. She was Honored Queen in Jobs Daughters and active in the Order of Eastern Star. Mildred and Dale enjoyed their San Leandro home and were active in the school activities of their children, as well as Camp Fire Girls, Boy Scouts, Jobs Daughters Bethel #207 and First Christian Church of San Lorenzo. Inurnment at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park; 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA 94544. A private family service was held at her home; a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church; 15661 Washington Avenue, San Lorenzo, CA 94577.
