Michael Joseph Torbik, born on July 4, 1945, peacefully passed away on June 27, 2025, just shy of his 80th birthday. He is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of nearly 60 years, Sandy Torbik; his children Tammy Norwood (married to Glenn Norwood), Julie Miskic (married to Branko Miskic), and Joseph Torbik (married to Geraldine Torbik); six cherished grandchildren Josip, Adam, Michael (married to Joyce), Cheyenne, Madison, and William; and three beloved great-grandchildren Chimaira, Emily, and Evelyn.
A devoted family man, Michael was a hands-on father and grandfather who dedicated much of his time coaching softball and little league, nurturing his children’s and grandchildren’s passions and skills. His unwavering support and presence in their lives was a testament to his loving and generous spirit.
He was a proud employee of PG&E for over 40 years, where he built a strong legacy of dedication and hard work. Beyond his professional career, Michael was an avid collector with a keen eye for unique treasures and enthusiastically supported his wife Sandy in her antique business, sharing in her passion and commitment.
A man of deep faith, he was a dedicated member of Grace Baptist Church, where he found strength and community throughout his life.
Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and commitment to family and community. His warmth, wisdom, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew him.
