Michael Richard Tolbertson's Obituary
Michael Richard Tolbertson, Construction Superintendent and life-long resident of the Bay Area, died unexpectedly on March 14th, 2015 at the age of 45 while on a road trip to Las Vegas. Mike was a devoted father to Todd (25), Brandon (23), Amy (19) and Ashley (16) and their mother Angie Tolbertson. He is supported by his parents Richard and Maggie Tolbertson and Phil and Diane Warner along with his sister Tammy Garza and husband Roy Garza. He is remembered with love by his two beautiful grand-daughters Hayle and Kylee along with many nieces and nephews. Mike was born in San Jose on April 15, 1969. He graduated from Mount Pleasant High in 1987. He started working for Carpenters Union in 1989 and continued throughout his career. He spent 17+ years working for Rudolph and Sletten and the last 5 years with BNBuilders as a Superintendent. Mike was a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed being outdoors and experiencing new adventures as often as possible. He loved road trips with his kids to Disneyland, boating at Lake McClure, riding his dirt bike at Hollister or just sitting by the campfire. He loved camping with his family and friends and spending quality time relaxing. He was always up for making new memories. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00am on March 28th at the Chapel of Chimes – 32992 Mission Blvd in Hayward.
