Michael Lawrence Farnan's Obituary
Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on Friday, September 28, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the Reflection Chapel for Michael Lawrence Farnan, 45, and Lawrence Donald "Don" Farnan, Jr., 43, both former residents of Sonoma County. Both men, along with Michael's wife Pama, were victims in the crash of their single-engine aircraft in Willits, California on September 9, 2001. Lawrence was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and Michael passed at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital on September 21, 2001. Lawrence is survived by his daughter, Danielle Farnan, who was also injured in the crash but was later released from Children's Hospital in Oakland. Michael is survived by his daughter, Darcy Farnan. Both brothers are survived by their father, Lawrence Donald Farnan, Sr., their brother Edward L. Farnan, their sister, Nancy Mathai and various nieces and nephews. Both men most recently were residents of San Mateo County, where each owned a contracting business.
