Michael Anthony Armstrong's Obituary
Michael Anthony Armstrong, of Stockton, CA, passed away December 31, 2015 at his home at the age of 47. Michael was born May 21, 1968 in San Jose, CA. Michael was active in sports growing up as most young children. Shortly after high school, Michael enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country for 5 years. Upon returning home to California, Michael began his career in the fire safety field, culminating as a fire alarm technician/specialist for Stanford University for the last 20 years. However, his greatest passion came eight years ago with the birth of his daughter Catalina. Nothing pleased Michael more than spending time with his daughter and being a father to her. Michael’s other passions in life were his extended family and working in his garage, tinkering on his latest project. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Imogene Armstrong, mother, Janice Fertuna, in 2011 and is survived by his daughter, Catalina (age 8), father, Edward and siblings Richard, Jenifer, Edward (Bub) and Gina.
