Meirong L Su's Obituary
Meirong Su, age of 83, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on October 27, 2021. She was born on February 5, 1938, with one younger brother and four younger sisters.
She graduated from Pui-Ching Primary School, Pui-Ching Middle School in Guangzhou, and Hsiang-Ya Medical College in Hunan. After graduating in 1962, she worked as a pediatrician in internal medicine at a hospital and taught clinical medicine at a medical college in China. She married Mr. Jinglin Su in 1963 and has one son and one daughter.
In 1985, she immigrated to Chicago, Illinois, and worked as a medical assistant. After retiring in 2003, she moved to California.
Born in a Christian family, she was baptized at the Dongshan Baptist Church in Guangzhou at the age of 13. After coming to the United States, she participated in church and fellowship activities at the Chinese Christian Union Church in Chicago, Illinois, and Arise Church in Fremont, California.
Meirong is survived by husband Jinglin Su; son Henry Su and wife Rebecca; daughter Emily Kim and husband Michael; granddaughter Michelle Kim; grandson Matthew Kim; brother Weide Lin and wife Wanhing; sister Meiyun Lin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral home in Hayward, California
