Maxine Edwards Oct. 3, 1931 ~ July 29, 2011 Resident of Union City Maxine was born in Beaumont, Texas on Oct, 3, 1931. She attended Pipkin Grammar School and Charlton Pollard High. She migrated to San Francisco, CA in 1957 where she attended Charm Beauty School. After graduating she received her licenses to practice hairstyling. Maxine was raised in the Church of the Living God under the leadership of the late Reverend T.A. McDaniel. Survived by her husband, Willie Edwards and her brother TJ Howard. Viewing will be held on Thurs. 8/03/2011 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a Committal Service at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA. (510) 471-3363
