Maureen Erickson's Obituary
Maureen was born in Oakland, CA on June 25, 1932 to James and Jeannette Gibson. She has graced this earth with an abundance of unconditional love to all she met and continued this tradition by becoming a registered nurse. She was a great mother, grandmother, and friend; also a musician who played organ and piano for the First Christian Church in Fremont for over 50 years.Maureen had a wonderful open door policy; she left the front door open where one could stay a few minutes, others, a few years. She leaves behind her love of almost 63 years, Raymond, children Spence (Pat), Brad (Missy), Joni Canada (Gary) and Sonja Clifford (Jeff). She also had 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandkids on which she doted and loved. She also leaves behind her brother, Harold (Linda). On June 20th, she earned her stripes to be with her Heavenly Father. Our mom was an amazing woman who lives in everyone she touched.Services to be held Friday, July 1, 2016, 1PM at the Chapel of the Chimes’ Reflection Chapel, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
