We lived only 3 houses down and would come over regularly to talk have tea and talk about life experiences I miss Charlie and Maude Spann along with my great grandparents I hope all 4 of them there souls are carried among me and there loved ones!
Happy Birthday Maude! Gabbi and I are thinking of you! Maude and Charlie were my neighbor when I moved to my first home from San Francisco. Soon thereafter I adopted my daughter and we fell in love with our new ‘grandparents’ next door. We’d wave and blow kisses through the kitchen window, we’d exchange figs for lemons over the fence and I’d cut their lawn and rake their leaves while Charlie held the bin for me.
