Mary Naomi Yates a Hayward, California resident entered into rest Saturday, September 21, 2002 in Oakland, California. Born in Berkeley on October 9, 1982, she was 19 years of age. Mary loved to write, listen to music, collect cards, watch cooking shows (especially Emirl Live) and Who's Line Is It Anyway?. She was home schooled and really enjoyed it as well as she looked forward to seeing her teacher every day. She liked learning flash cards and computer games, especially the game Marjon. She also loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.Loving daughter of Selina Yates of Hayward. Dear sister of Joshua Yates of Hayward. Granddaughter of Pastor Mary Rigmaiden Marizette of Hayward and James & Marylou Yates, Sr. of Hayward. She is also survived by her loving aunts, uncles and many cousins. Friends are welcome to attend a memorial service Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. A reception will be held at in the Memories Room at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
