Mary Lou Baker Silva, 90, a long-time resident of San Leandro, Ca, died on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Eden Hospital.Born in 1921 near Wardell, MO, she moved to California in 1955.0 She was a long-time retirre from Sunsine Biscuits and a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lake Chabot Chapter.She enjoyed cooking, baking, and collecting recipes, she also loved taking care of people, and maintained her own home until her passing.She is survived by her sons Jimmie Baker and William Baker, her daughter Demetra Varanai, 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death be her husband, Garner Baker, long time companion Frank Ramons and granddaughter Angela Hopken. A Funeral Service will be held at Chapel of the CHimes in Hayward on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10:00 AMIn Lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Charity of your Choice.
