Mary G. Marr's Obituary
Mary Gloria Marr, daughter of Flavio and Gregoria Robles passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on the morning of September 29th, 2020 after battling Covid 19 for several weeks. She is survived by her daughter Linda Wiley and son Robert Marr. She had nine grand children, Jerrin, Adam, Sherah, Crystal, Isabel, Sydney, Andrew, Kristina and Adhele, in addition to multiple great grand children.
Gloria as her family knew her had one sister named Sally and 6 brothers; Roy, Ernie, Al, Bob, Manuel and Gilbert. While being a very private person, Gloria loved her family deeply and would always talk about her kids and her own brothers and sister. She also spoke frequently about her own mother and father and spent some time after retirement from AT&T helping care for her father in his declining years. She strived to be a good daughter and Catholic.
Gloria will be interred near her mother and father’s grave site at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos, California ( 22555 Cristo Rey Dr., CA 94024). The interment service will take place at 1:30PM on Friday October 23rd , 2020. All are welcome, however because of the Covid pandemic the service will be limited in time, to approximately one half hour, and there will be wearing of masks and appropriate social distancing. Because of current pandemic environment and restrictions on services a memorial/together for friends family will probably be scheduled for sometime next year.
