Mary Teresa Green Mar. 30, 1915 – Feb. 5, 2010 Resident of San Leandro, CA. Mary Teresa Green: 94 yrs. Old. Born March 30, 1915 Passed away Feb. 5, 2010. A 67 year resident of San Leandro. Mary passed away peacefully after seeing family and friends. Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Husband, Gordon (passed away in 1983). Survived by son, Gordon Green of AZ, son Dan and wife, Pat Green of Pleasanton, grandchildren, Patrick Green (deceased), Jodie Kepler, Midge Green, Denise Riley, Cheryl Green and 5 great grandchildren. She also had special friend/daughter, Dee Dutton. Mary was born in Kansas and moved to Calif. at age three. She attended school in Ft. Bragg, CA. where she played basketball and was an avid ocean swimmer. Mary was an artist, painter and wood carver, who won many award ribbons. She sold much of her work. Mary was a life member of the San Leandro art assoc. a docent at Casa Peralta, volunteered at the San Leandro library and was a member of a wood carving group and other civic groups. She lived by a code, “Nothing I have is of any value until I give it away.” If someone needed help, she was there. She is helping God.
